I just wrote a guest post about Hong Kong and ‘how it is a city for everyone’ for Amelia’s blog ‘Chai: A cup of life’.
Here is a little peek for all of you:
““….Hong Kong presents an entwining of Western and Asian cultures to the maximum. Apart from being a global financial center, it is also acts as a new gateway to China. To a new expat, this place can give a bit of a culture shock with its hustle and bustle continuing for 24 hours a day with its not so laid back attitude and swing mood….”
Before I moved to Hong Kong, I had actually not given it much thought. Though it’s been a part time home for two years now (as my husband moved here two years back and I was traveling every alternate month to see him), but I officially moved here some five months back. And since then, I have been in awe with this city that I am trying to make a home in.
Hong Kong has a lot to offer, but as a new expat who has recently moved to this city there are so many characteristics that define this place and here I talk about what’s in store if you ever visit or move to this multinational place.”
